Scorching weather condition continued to affect normal life in parts of today where the mercury soared to settle at 47 degrees Celsius in Churu.

Heat wave swept western parts of the state where Sriganganagar and Bikaner recorded a maximum temperature of 46.5 degrees and 46 degrees respectively, while Jaisalmer, Barmer and Kota registered the day temperature of 45.5 degrees, 45.2 degrees and 45.1 degrees Celsius.
