JAMMU, May 6: Inter School and Zonal Level Competitions, being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports were played at different venues.
JOURIAN: Inter School Tournament in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Cricket for under-14 and 17 boys and girls were declared open at Government Girls High School, here.
In under-14 Volleyball, GHS Gurha Manhasan beat GMS Maire, whereas in under-17 category, GHSS Jourian defeated NHS Dhanger.
In under-14 Kabaddi, GHS Kaleeth beat BSK Jourian, whereas in under-17 category, NHS Dhanger defeated GHSS Pargwal.
In under-17 Kho-Kho, GHSS Parwal registered win over NHS Dhanger.
PURMANDAL: Inter-School Tournament for under-14 and 17 boys in the discipline of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Wrestling was played here today.
In under-17 Volleyball, St Marys Convent School Smailpur and Humanity Public School secured winner and runner-up positions respectively, whereas in under-14 category, Humanity Public School and St Marys Convent School secured winner and runner-up positions respectively.
In under-17 Kabaddi, Humanity Public School and Star School of Intellectual Smailpur bagged winner and runner-up positions respectively, whereas in under-14 category, St Marys Convent School Smailpur and Star School of Intellectual Smailpur secured winner and runner-up positions respectively.
In under-17 Kho-Kho, Humanity Public School and GHS Meen Sarkar clinched winner and runner-up positions respectively, whereas in under-14 category, Humanity Public School and GMS Smailpur secured winner and runner-up positions respectively.
JIB: Zonal Level Inter School Tournament in the discipline of Badminton for under-14 and 17 boys and was played at mini stadium, Udhampur.
In under-14 category, Akul Mengi of Sacred Era and Rohit Dubey of PP School bagged winner and runner-up positions respectively, whereas in under-17 category, Aryan Sharma bagged first position and Akshay of Holy Angel School Udhampur secured runner-up position.
SAMBA: Inter School Zonal Level Tournament for under-14 and 17 boys were played here.
In under-14 Kho-Kho final, CMP Nud lost to NV Dhalote, whereas in under-14 Volleyball final, MI Sumb registered win over GHS Sarna and in under-14 Kabaddi final, MI Sumb defeated CMP Nud.
In under-17 Kho-Kho final, CMP Nud defeated NV Dhalote, whereas in under-17 Volleyball final, CMP Nud beat NV Dhalote and in under-17 Kabaddi final, CMP Nud crushed NV Dhalote.
KATHUA: Inter School District Level Tournament of Roll Ball and Roller Skating for under-14 and 17 boys and girls were played at DPS Rajbhag and Sports Stadium Kathua.
In under-14 Roller Skating (boys), Samarth Mahajan of Minerva Public School Kathua was declared winner and Yuvraj Andotra secured second position, whereas in under-17 category, Shivek Mahajan of St Xavier Convent School Hatli Morh and Raghav Gupta of DPS Rajbagh bagged first and second positions respectively.
In under-14 Roller Skating, Tejasvi Rajput bagged first position, while Jiya Sharma of Minerva Public School Kathua clinched second position, whereas in under-17 category, Prerana Bhagat of Minerva Public School Kathua and Sanya Sharma of Little Angle School Kathua secured first and second positions respectively.
In under-14 Karate (boys), Bony Kumar of GMS Kathua C, Navdeep Singh, Aditya Sharma, Nikhil Rajput and Chitresh Bhagat of Kartar Public School Barnoti stood first in below 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 kg weight categories, while in above 45 kg, Udhay Puniya of Kartar Public School Barnoti stood first.
In under-17 Karate (boys), Mohit of KPS Barnoti, Paras Sharma of KPS Barnoti, Amanjot Singh of KPS Barnoti, Nitin Sharma of Indian Public School Kathua, Sangam of KPS Barnoti, Munarak Khajuria of Tiny Scholars School Kathua and Saanidhya of KPS Barnoti remained first in below 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 kg weight categories, whereas in above 70 kg, Sandeep of KPS Barnoti stood first.
In under-14 Karate (girls), Pallavi of KPS Barnoti stood first in below 25 kg, Soni Sambyal of Jammu Sanskrit School Kathua clinched first position in below 30 kg, Karshish of Tiny Scholars School Kathua stood first in below 40 kg, Himani Prashar of KPS Barnoti stood first in below 45 kg whereas in above 45 kg Aradhya Abrol of Indian Public School Kalibari stood first.
In under-17 Kabaddi (girls), Shivani of BPS Billawar and Sukhpreet Kour of Indian Public School Kalibari stood first in below 32 and below 48 kg weight categories.
BHADERWAH: Inter School Tournament under different disciplines for boys held at Government Higher Secondary School Boys here.
In under-14 category, GMS Mathola beat Holly mission in Kho-Kho match whereas in Kabaddi and Volleyball, GMS Nichla Thara beat Middle School Dallin and Islamia School respectively.
In under-17 Volleyball, GHS Nichla Thara beat GHS Manthla and in Kho-Kho GHS Nagar beats Holly Mission.
HARNI: Inter School Zonal Level Competitions in the disciplines of Volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho for under-14 and 17 boys and girls were held here today.
In under-17 Kabaddi (boys), GHS Harni emerged winner, while in under-17 Kho-Kho (boys), GHS Sarathi bagged first position and in under-17 Volleyball (boys), GHS Soni Symbella secured first position.
In under-17 Kabaddi (girls), GHS Harni clinched first position, whereas in under-17 Kho-Kho (girls) and under-17 Volleyball (girls), GHS Harni emerged winner.
In under-14 Kabaddi (boys), GHS Surathi emerged winner, whereas in under-14 Kho-Kho (girls), GMS Upper Kandi bagged first position and in under-14 Volleyball (girls), GMS Harni secured first position.
In under-17 Kabaddi (girls), under-14 Kho-Kho (girls) and under-14 Volleyball (girls), GHS Harni emerged winner.
