CBSE is to conduct the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2017 (NEET UG 2017) for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses on May 7. The NEET exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.

BCCI has convened a Special General Meeting in New Delhi on Sunday to finalise its response, after it was isolated in the recent ICC Board meeting in Dubai that passed a revised revenue and administrative model. The BCCI found little support in its bid to retain the 2014 Big Three plan which gave India, Australia and England the lion’s share of revenues.

BSE and NSE are to conduct mock trading sessions on Saturday. While the BSE will conduct the sessions in the currency and equity derivatives and equity segments, NSE will do so in the futures and options and capital market space. The move is part of BSE's efforts to provide its members with a "robust and efficient system for trading with better features".

BJP president Amit Shah is to visit Left Front-ruled Tripura from Saturday during which he will prepare a roadmap on how to win the next assembly elections, due in the first half of 2018. During his two-day visit, the BJP chief will hold meetings with the party’s state unit president and senior tribal leaders of the state.
