BBMP driver booked for abusing lady SI

The Mysuru police have booked a driver attached to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for abusing a woman police officer on duty on Thursday.
Ramesh had abused VV Puram Traffic Police Sub-Inspector Mamatha during a drunken driving check at Royal Inn Junction on KRS Road. Ramesh was found driving his vehicle under the influence of alcohol and when the officer served him a notice, he abused her.The Metagalli police have registered a case against Ramesh.
