Video shows militants torturing informers

A video showing suspected Hizbul Mujahideen operatives assault two police informers, giving them a haircut and shoving one of the victim’s head into a bucket of water has sent a fresh wave of terror across the Kashmir Valley.

The seven-minute video, which surfaced on social networking sites despite a government ban, begins with the Hizbul outfit’s name and insignia.

It goes on to show a dark room in which militants are cutting the hair of a man, who is seen pleading with them with folded hands to spare him.
