BC Utilities Commission to Host Unique Annual Conference in Vancouver Next Week

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - May 04, 2017) - The BC Utilities Commission will be hosting hundreds of regulators and stakeholders, including consumers and others involved in Canada's utility industry, as part of the CAMPUT conference next week in Vancouver.

CAMPUT is a self-supporting, not-for-profit association of energy and utility regulators. The annual conference, which is self-funded, is CAMPUT's most significant undertaking. It provides an opportunity for those involved in the energy industry to engage in meaningful dialogue on a range of topics of mutual interest.

2017 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The annual conference will be held at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver, B.C. from May 7-10, 2017.

The theme of this year's conference is "Energy and Regulation in Transition - Charting the Course". Speakers include experts in the field of energy and energy regulation from Canada, the U.S. and other parts of the world. The conference will blend the fundamentals of utility regulation in Canada with current energy related topics and emerging issues to provide a balanced view of these topics and issues, which include the following:
