Kitchen appliances brand TTK Prestige has won ‘The Red Dot Award’ for high design quality for its ‘Hobtop’ product. A press release claims this is the first Indian company to have been bestowed with this honour.

A four-burner gas stove developed specifically for Indian cooking, the ‘Hobtop’ has been designed by Dyutiman Moulik of INCUE, a Bangalore-based design firm.

The Hobtop's burners are designed for over 70 per cent thermal efficiency, with 50 per cent reduction in carbon emissions.
