The state government in association with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday launched a website – I-Viveka – wherein people can lodge complaints related to financial frauds online.

Billed as the first of its kind in the country, complaints registered on the web portal will be automatically transferred to the regulators concerned such as the RBI, Securities and Exchange Board of India and Registrar of Companies. The interactive website has a provision for uploading complaints through a one-time password authentication process.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the website developed by the State Level Coordination Committee (SLCC), comprising representatives from all the regulators to address cases related to unauthorised collection of funds by fraudulent entities to dupe gullible investors.
