Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said those posessing more than one car would have to pay additional tax.
The tax would be collected from the owners while registration of the second car to be posessed by the person and thereafter purchase of a third car, an official release said quoting Das.
Registration tax on luxury cars would be more, he said.
In another decision, the state government would bring a law to protect domestic helps and a separate fund would be set up for them to raise their standard of living.
To give relief to small traders, the governmen hast decided to give them relief in self assessment up to Rs two crore, he added.
