UP ATS arrests ISI suspect from Faizabad

Anti-Terrorist Squad (UP ATS) on Wednesday arrested a suspected Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent.

Another suspect was also interrogated.

It is believed that suspect Aftab Ali, son of Wajid Ali, was receiving training from the in and was in touch with the High Commission officials.

The ATS was in possession of strong evidence against him like phone chats and some pictures of the Cantonment area.

It was a joint operation conducted by the UP ATS, the Military Intelligence and the UP Intelligence.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Sahni is leading the operation.

It is believed that more arrests can be possible in relation with this.
