The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday dismissed reports of an internal conflict in the party following the crushing defeat in the crucial Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections.
"There is no rift in the party. Arvindji also tweeted this yesterday that there wasn't any problem," AAP leader Alka Lamba said.
Lamba also expressed her disappointment over party leader Amanatullah Khan issuing a statement against the party members, thereby, adding 'fuel to the fire,' referring to media reports that there was an infighting within the party.
"The accusations are grave. I am actually disappointed in Amanatullah bhai, who is himself a member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). He should have gone to the PAC directly, if he had such complaints and proofs to support them," Lamba said.
