A Perth fisherman has captured the moment a cheeky seal pulled off the perfect heist, and robbed an unsuspecting angler of a catch right from under his nose.
Eamonn O'Hare was fishing with friends near the Mewstones - a popular fishing spot around 5 kilometres off the coast of Fremantle - earlier this month.

The spot is renowned for tailor in excess of one kilogram, and fishermen flock to the area on weekends to drop a line off the reef. Therefore it was only natural another type of hunter came along to enjoy the sunny weather.
"It didn't take long for us to start hooking up on the salmon as they were plenty at the location," Mr O'Hare said.

"There were stingrays, sharks, birds all clearly visible below our boat as the water was so clean. The place was just a hive of natural activity."
But soon Mr O'Hare caught sight of a potential thief bobbing around the boats.
A seal had decided to make a snack out of another angler's catch, and Mr O'Hare took his phone out to capture the moment.
"By the time I was recording he was by our boat and chasing my mate Josh's fish," he said.
"Josh just tried to get his fish out of the water as soon as possible- the rest you can see for yourself."
And you can indeed- the seal chases the snagged fish around the boat, and despite Josh's best efforts, gets a hold of a freshly caught salmon lunch.
Seals are regularly spotted at the Mewstones area, and Mr O'Hare's video should act as a warning for anglers: always keep an eye on your catch because seals are rude and don't care who supplied the bait.
