Net profit of JSW Energy declined 99.35% to Rs 2.45 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 379.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 36.66% to Rs 1012.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1599.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 83.52% to Rs 194.75 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1182.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 31.07% to Rs 4040.97 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5862.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
