Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today directed the school education department to upgrade the schools in Nuh district and in Morni area of Panchkula on priority basis.
Khattar said that he has approved a new policy for the up gradating of schools in Morni area of Panchkula district and Nuh district.
He directed that the schools fulfilling the norms as per this policy should be upgraded on priority basis for the benefit of students at large.
He said that it has also been decided that girls colleges would be opened at every 20 kilometres in the state.
Mapping of the colleges has been got completed and new colleges would be opened as per the requirement, he said.
The chief minister said that he is soon going to convene a meeting of the education department to review the progress in this regard.
