It is now possible to save the parking location of your vehicle - right from Google Maps. There is no need to download a separate app.

1. Tap the blue dot in Google Maps

2. Tap 'Save your parking'

3. A label will be displayed.

4. Tap on the label to enter any parking note (like near pillar no. 40)

5. If there is a timed parking meter, you can enter the 'Time left' column. You will get an alert 15 minutes before the time expires.

6. You can click the camera icon to take a picture of the location.

7. You can share the location with your friends and relatives too by clicking the Share button on the top.
