15:40 pm: ACC shares rose 7.36 percent or 110.20 points to 1606 level. Indian Bank (9.29 percent) and India Cements (7.05 percent) were also among top gainers on the BSE.
13:44 pm: The Sensex rose almost 275 points in afternoon trade, with Nifty too gaining almost 1 percent to 9213 points.
