Chief Minister today said the state wants to expand IT and IT enabled facilities in the district level to create jobs for the young generation.

"Success of having and Software Technology Park will depend on creation of jobs. We must ensure students after completing their professional courses shall not leave the state in search of job", he said after inaugurating an and Software Technology Park at Indranagar, in the outskirts of the state capital.



"(IT) and IT enabled facilities have opened up a new world. I hope today's inaugural function will have an impact on job creation in the state", he said.

"Although one can't ignore generation, the authority must look at generating jobs for youths", the chief minister added.

Sarkar said it is true the country has made a significant progress in the science and technology sector over the years.

"We have already reached Mars riding on the success in science and technology and we landed on the moon much earlier", he said.

Minister for IT Tapan Chakraborty, Director General (DG) of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and Principle Secretary (IT) M Nagaraju were present in the programme.
