The temperature in the capital continued to soar further with the minimum recorded at 28.9 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average, on Friday.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 56 per cent.

Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 43.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, while minimum temperature was 25.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
