Heatwave conditions prevailed in the lower hills of as day temperatures stayed five to eight degrees above normal in spite of rainfall at some places.

Udaipur and Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti district received 19 mm and 7 mm of rains respectively, while Tissa and Saloni in Chamba district witnessed 6 mm and 5 mm rainfall respectively.



Rainfall also occurred in Shimla.
