: Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao today appointed S Felix as Vice Chancellor of Fisheries University, Nagapattinam for a three year period.

Rao, also the University Chancellor, presented the appointment order to Felix as Vice-Chancellor for a period of three years from the date of assumption of office at here, a press release said.



Felix replaces Baskaran Manimaran, who was appointed in 2013 as the University's first Vice-Chancellor.

According to University website,Manimaran demitted office in March 2016 and since then Registrar K Rathnakumar has been Vice-Chancellor-in-Charge.
