Nitish meets Sonia amid JD(U) plea for common presidential candidate

On the day Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar met Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, JD(U) also issued an appeal to the opposition parties to field a common candidate for the presidential elections. The meeting was described as a courtesy call.
