NOIDA (UP): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today once again appealed to his followers not to take the law on to their hands.

Speaking at a public meeting in Jhansi, Adityanath said, "Don't give an opportunity to others.. Dont take the law onto your hand...inform the concerned authority instead."

Adityanath had earlier also cautioned Hindu groups to refrain from vigilantism after outrages over violent incidents involving self-proclaimed cow protectors. Adityanath's own Hindu Yuva Vahini also recently indefinitely suspended enrolment of new members.

The Yuva Vahini members were accused of dragging a consenting couple in Meerut to the police station, interrupting a prayer meeting at a church in Maharajganj where US nationals were present, and being involved in a hit-and-run case in Noida.

Meanwhile at the Jhansi meeting UP CM also reiterate his earlier promises of zero-tolerance on corruption. He promised to visit all districts of the state to listen to people's grievances.

The Uttar Pradesh chief minister promised to connect Bundlekhand with Delhi via a six lane road to create employment. He also asked BJP workers to keep track of developmental works in the region and apprise him if they found something missing.

He also promised that soon all districts will have 24 hours of electricity and that his government will work to improve the health care system in the state.
