Police on Thursday apprehended a teenager for mowing down four people near ISBT Kashmere Gate.A case has been registered under Section 304 of the (IPC).

One person was killed and three critically injured in the incident.

"The boy, claiming to be 18 years old, who was driving the car, was apprehended by the police at the spot. He is undergoing medical examination, whereas the other two occupants fled the from spot," Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), North, Jatin Narwal said.

The police has yet to verify the age of the teenager. They, however, ruled out the possibility of car being driven under influence of alcohol.
