CBI registers case against 13 TMC leaders in connection with Narada sting case

KOLKATA: In a major jolt to Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress, the Central Bureau of Investigation has today lodged an FIR against 13 accused persons who allegedly feature in the Narada sting operation video .

The accused persons include senior MPs and ministers of Bengal's ruling party Trinamool Congress. CBI in its FIR slapped charges under the criminal conspiracy and appropriate sections of anti-corruption act.

CBI has today submitted its prelimary enquiry report to the apex court after which the FIR is registered.
