Two separate cases were lodged against former parliamentary secretary and Congress leader Govind Ram Meghwal for allegedly hurting religious sentiments in a speech on the birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar.
One case was filed by former BJYM state president Bhagwan Singh at Sadar police station in which he alleged that Meghwal hurt religious sentiments with certain comments on Hindu deities in his speech here yesterday.
The second case was lodged with by Gayatri Prasad.
Both cases are being probed, the police said.
