BJP has adopted twin policies: Dharmendra Pradhan

BHUBANESWAR: Senior BJP leader and Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said the party has adopted twin policy of meeting people's aspirations and strengthening the organisation ahead of the 2019 general election.

"We pursue twin policies of fulfilling aspirations of the people through the government and creating strong political base to support the government," Pradhan told reporters after inagurating the media centre for BJP's two-day national executive meeting begining here tomorrow.

People across the country had given massive mandate in favour of BJP and Narendra Modi in 2014 general elections, which was repeated again in the recent assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa, he said.

The party, Pradhan said, has been working to carry forward the tempo by meeting aspirations of the people through government policies being adopted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi while Amit Shah is creating a strong base for the party across the country.

Pradhan said yesterday's by-election results also added strength to the BJP's victory journey and since 2019 is the year for general elections and assemebly polls in Odisha, the party is working hard to fulfil aspirations of the people.

The Bhubaneswar National Executive Meet will prepare road map for BJP for the next two years, he added.
