External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday dismissed reports about her asking help from Congress MP Shashi Tharoor in Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case.
Some media reports suggested that Sushma had sought Tharoor’s help in the Lok Sabha to draft a resolution against the death sentence awarded to former IndianNavy officer Jadhav by a military court in Pakistan.
“There is no dearth of talent in my ministry. I have the assistance of very able Secretaries,” Swaraj posted on Twitter.
Reports also suggested that Tharoor had taken the permission of Mallikarjun Kharge, leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, before agreeing to help draft the resolution.
