Secretary Hasmukh Adhia will review the preparedness of North Eastern states this week as the gears up to roll out the new indirect regime from July 1.

As part of his four-day visit to the region, Adhia will reach Guwahati on April 13 where he will meet the state officials to review IT preparedness for the Goods and Services (GST).



The Secretary will also meet representatives of trade, industry and business to explain in detail issues surrounding the new indirect regime and remove doubts and confusion, if any, concerning and related legislations, the Ministry said in a series of tweets.
