At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha for delivery in May declined by Rs 1.70, or 0.17 per cent to Rs 992.10 per kg in business turnover of one lot.



Likewise, the for delivery in April edged down by 80 paise, or 0.08 per cent to Rs 988 per kg in 33 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in spot market against ample stocks position on increased supplies from Chandausi in mainly led to the decline in mentha prices at futures trade.
