MP Ravindra Gaikwad today chose to travel by train to reach the national capital though the flying ban on him has been withdrawn.

Gaikwad has boarded the the Mumbai-Rajdhani Express to reach Delhi, a railway official said.



He has reserved berth number 44 in the A3 coach, the second AC in Mumbai-Rajdhani Express.

However, the official could not confirm whether he deboarded at station or before it.

Gaikwad had also used the Mumbai-Rajdhani Express to return to last week.

The ban on Gaikwad was revoked last Friday after the intervention of the Civil Aviation Ministry as the had threatened to boycott dinner.
