The RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, on Monday, forayed into the FMCG segment with its 'Too Yum' brand of snacks.
Too Yum will cater to the 'health segment' through low calorie offerings. As of now, offerings will be in foxnut and wheat thin categories.
Too Yum will be owned by Guiltfree Industries held by RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group.
"Initially, we will focus on food for the next 6-9 months before concentrating on other FMCG cateogories," Sanjiv Goenka, Group Chairman, said.
The product will initially be launched in Pune, Kolkata and Delhi and NCR markets within this month across 20,000-odd outlets that include both modern trade (like Spencers, More, etc) and general trade (kirana shops).
In the subsequent months, products will be taken pan-India.
"The plan is to launch 10 products with 50 variants over the next 12 months," Goenka said.
As of now, the offerings are being produced by third party facilities in Gujarat, Pune (Maharastra) and Delhi.
