Gaikwad has boarded the the Mumbai-Rajdhani Express to reach Delhi, a railway official said.

He reserved berth number 44 in the A3 coach, the second AC in Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express.

However, the official could not confirm whether he deboarded at New Delhi station or before it.
