Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken today took to Facebook Live to explain his party's plans for reforming the civic bodies in the national capital and attack the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), in the run up to April 23 MCD polls.
The live interaction "Dilli Ki Baat, Dil Ke Saath" reached 90,000 people in Delhi and over 1000 questions were asked, said Delhi Congress leader Aman Panwar.
In the freewheeling discussion about the MCD polls, Maken touched a range of issues and the vision of the Congress party for the MCD and Delhi.
He said that Congress has a road-map for "disease and dirt free-Delhi" and the party will work for the financial self reliance of the three civic bodies after winning the elections.
Attacking Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, he dubbing him as an "over ambitious" and "self-obsessed" person.
"He is an over ambitious person, who is self-obsessed and in order to pursue his blind ambitions, does not care about anything," Maken said.
He also charged the BJP with "sitting over" Shunglu Committee report that "exposed" the Kejriwal government.
"We got Shunglu Committee report through RTI. Otherwise, the BJP was sitting over it since November 2016. It has made some very serious charges of corruption against the AAP. They have no moral right to continue (in the government)," he added.
