A 45-year-old woman was killed and five others were injured after a mini-truck hit them in Moosapet area here today, police said.
The victims were out on morning walk when the speeding vehicle hit them from behind, killing P Jyothi (45) on the spot and injuring others, an official from Kukatpally police station said.
The driver tried to flee but was nabbed by locals and handed over to police. Further probe is on.
