A 57-year-old man and his son aged 23 have been booked for the death of a labourer at their house in Aadharwadi locality of Kalyan township here, police said.
The deceased, Ravi Padu Walavai (40), worked as a labourer at the farm of the two men.
They asked Ravi to demolish a wall in their house yesterday.
As the victim was trying to pull down the wall, it collapsed on him, police said.
Ravi sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The Khadakpada police have registered an offence under IPC sections 304(A) (causing death by negligence) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) against the father-son duo.
No arrest has been made so far, police added.
