With the e-commerce marketplace Salebhai announcing on Thursday the launch of its international delivery service, Indian Diaspora across the world can now get regional products from their hometowns.
The Ahmedabad-based Salebhai has launched delivery service across 195 countries, with focus on the US, West and South Africa, Middle East and the UK. Indians settled abroad, as also foreigners, could now enjoy ‘authentic’ Indian food products, the company, , said here.
Vishwavijay Singh, Co-founder, SaleBhai.com, said in a statement here that the company is focusing on the requirements of over 17 Diaspora communities living in big Indian cities as well as abroad.
SaleBhai.com has tied up with leading international logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of products, including food items with short shelf-life. Each international delivery request will be fulfilled within 5-6 working days of shipping. The entire process has been integrated into SaleBhai’s automated website. Additionally, with multiple secure online payment options and easy tracking facility, the platform now has the first-mover advantage in reaching out to an even wider customer base.
Apart from regional food products, SaleBhai customers will also be able to buy a range of other products that include handicrafts from Jaipur and Odisha, freshwater pearl jewellery from Hyderabad, and Ayurvedic organic body care items, curated for international delivery.
Founded in September 2015, Salebhai.com enables people living away from home order a range of specialties directly from their hometowns. With consumable items like sweets, namkeens, chocolates, bakery, spices, dry fruits, beverages, and pickles sourced from over 100 cities and 250 select vendors. Salebhai also offers other products such as handicrafts, paintings, puja items, handloom goods, and herbal and wellness items.
