In a statement here, he said that as per Supreme Court's order, 3,321 shops and bars located within 500 metres of state and national have been closed in the state but the is planning to reclassify state into city roads so as to allow their reopening.

Ramadoss wrote a letter to all the political parties in the state asking them to voice their opposition to the state government's planned move and support his party on the issue.
