Nifty slumps: AB Money, Patspin, Archidply hit 52-week high
NEW DELHI: Shares of Aditya Birla Money, Patspin India, BSEL Infra, Hester Biosc, Websol Energy, Jai Balaji Inds, Weizmann Ltd, Jay Shree Tea, Archidply Ind, TN Petroprod hit their fresh 52-week high on NSE.
However, stocks such as Rasoya Proteins, Gallantt Ispat, CL Educate Ltd., Intense Tech, Persistent Sys, N R Agarwal Ind, Shekhawati Poly, VKS Projects, KSK Energy Vent, FCS Software touched their fresh 52-week low.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 37.50 points down at 9227.65 around 12.45 pm (IST) on account of selling in select frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 18 shares were trading in green, while 33 settled the day in red in the Nifty 50 index.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, Indian Oil Corp, IndusInd Bank, Zee Ent., RIL, Infosys, ONGC, GAIL, Tata Motors, Tata Motors stood among top gainers, while Hindalco Inds., Ibull HousingFin, ICICI Bank, Adani Ports SEZ, ITC, Eicher Motors, Coal India Ltd, SBI, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Power were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was down 121.59 points down at 29852.65 at around the same time.
Traders were seen piling up position in Beverages - Non-Alcoholic, Gems and Jewellery, Equipments, Petrochemicals, Food Processing, Retail, Information Technology, Personal Care, Power, Finance sectors, while selling were visible in Packaging, Transport, Engineering, Textiles, Auto.
