Temperature dipped today after light rains lashed several parts of and Haryana, including for the second day, even as farmers are worried the change in weather might damage wheat crops.

In Haryana, Ambala, Hisar, Karnal, Panchkula, Kalka and Panipat also received rainfall, it said.

Ambala recorded a maximum of 33.6 degrees Celsius while Hisar registered a high of 34.6 degrees Celsius. Karnal's maximum settled at 36 degrees Celsius.

Amritsar in had a pleasant day at 30.1 degrees Celsius while recorded a high of 32.5 degrees Celsius. Patiala's maximum temperature settled at 33.7 deg C.
