Prohibitory orders under CrPC section 144 were imposed in one-kilometre radius of IMT Manesar by district authorities in view of some residents threatening to block Delhi-Japur National Highway-8 tomorrow.
A section of residents have threatened to block Delhi Jaipur Highway connecting through Gurgaon Manesar area in a protest, demanding construction of elevated Highway in Manesar.
Deputy Magistrate of Gurgaon Hardeep Singh has imposed the CrPC section 144, prohibiting assembly of more than five persons, with immediate effect from today till April 9 in and around one kilometre area of IMT Manesar.
"We have taken up adequate police deployment enforcing the section -144. If someone will be found violating it, strict action will taken against him or her" a senior police officer told PTI.
