The service of Tirupati-Kalyandurg daily passenger train was extended today to Kadiri Devarapalli fulfilling the long-standing demand of pilgrims.

This passenger train will help pilgrims travelling to Tirupati as a new line is constructed from Rayadurg-Tumkuru and Kalyandurg to Kadiri Devarapalli section forms a part of this line, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said while launching the new service through video-conferencing from here.



Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju and senior railway officials were present at the event.
