Three employees in the district were arrested today for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 for issuing a no-objection certificate.

According to Anti-Corruption Branch officials, one of the woman employees had demanded the bribe of Rs 25000 from one Vikram Singh, whose had gutted in fire some time back, to issue NOC for purpose.



The issue was settled at Rs 12000 and the accused asked singh to hand over the amount to a peon, ACB Inspector Hawa Singh said.

After verification, the ACB laid a trap and caught the peon red-handed.
