Amazon India launches digital program for new sellers

BENGALURU: For training new sellers joining the platform, Amazon India has rolled out its digital classroom program for sellers.

Amazon Classroom trains new sellers in focus areas on online selling such as order processing, adding products, managing returns and key online retail skills.

Sellers can register for the program and will be allowed to perform demo on their seller dashboard and collaborate with other sellers in real-time.

"As we enter the new financial year, we encourage thousands more to leverage our marketplace and make the most of India's growing digital economy. Amazon Classroom has beenspecially created for these new sellers who are seeking to learn these skills as they begin their online journey," said Gopal Pillai, director and general manager, seller services at Amazon India.

The platform currently has over 1.5 lakh sellers on the platform across multiple categories.
