Wonderla plans to be present in 5 cities in next five years

: Amusement park operatorWonderla Holidays Limited today unveiled its new brandidentity and said it plans to have presence in five cities inthe next five years.

The new brand strategy of the company includes new logo, sonic identity and television campaign.



"I think our ambitions are now bigger in terms of where we want to go, we want to be in five cities in the next five years," Wonderla Holidays Limited Managing Director Arun K Chittilappilly told reporters here.

He said "We are already in three cities. We willsoon have our presence in and we are looking at aWestern state, we are looking at Gujarat, and Goaas options, we will announce that as things are finalised."

Wonderla currently owns and operates three amusement parks- one each in Kochi, and respectivelyand a resort in

Speaking about an amusement park planned atChennai, Chittilappilly said "land is almostgetting completed right now, we will probably start the construction of the park in two quarters from now, and we will be able to commission it in two years."

He also said the company has plans to have resorts in and then in Kochi.

On the new brand identity, companyofficials said it represents the full potential of Wonderla as a destination for all ages.
