Five kilograms of heroin, smuggled into India from Pakistan, were seized by the Border Security Force (BSF) at the International Border here today.
BSF DIG R S Kataria said in the wee hours, a patrolling party of the border guarding force spotted some suspicious movements at Daoke village on the Indo-Pak border, beyond the barbed wire fencing.
A search operation was launched and the troops recovered five kilograms of heroin filled in bottles, he added.
