New Delhi: A Twitter user approached the External Affairs Minister with a Polish media report of an Indian student being beaten to death in the Polish city of Poznan.

A report published in the Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza read, "On Wednesday, an Indian student was beaten to death by unidentified persons, are still at large. The boy had a cut on his head, because he fell after being hit on the edge stall."

Expressing concern over the issue, Swaraj spoke to Ajay Bisaria, the Indian ambassador to Poland and later tweeted about it:

Bisaria wasted no time in ordering a probe into the incident. In response to external affairs minister's tweet, he replied:

Swaraj too, added:
