Subodh Bhargava’s stint over at Tata Communications

MUMBAI: In a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday, Tata Communications said Subodh Bhargava’s tenure as an independent director on the board of the company got over. Bhargava joined the board of the telecom firm in May 2002.

He was also on the board of Tata Steel from which he retired as well. A new chairman has not been announced yet. His “counsel and leadership have been invaluable to the growth of the company,” said the company statement.
