Sensex up; Dishman Pharma, Cimmco, Shakti Pumps among stocks that hit fresh 52-week high in trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dishman Pharma, Gulshan Polyols, Action Construction, Weizmann Ltd, Neuland Labs, Cimmco Ltd, Onward Tech, Emmbi Ind, Venkys (India) and Shakti Pumps hit their fresh 52-week high on the NSE.

However, stocks such as Sujana Towers, JMT Auto, PTL Enterprises, ANG Industries, Viji Finance, Noida Toll Bridge, Bombay Rayon, Global Offshore, Sharon Bio-Medicine, and TTK Healthcare touched their fresh 52-week low.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 56.65 points up at 9,101.85 in the afternoon trade on Tuesday following firm global cues.

Overall, 42 shares in the Nifty50 index were trading in the green, while nine were in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, Zee Entertainment, Bharti Infratel, Tata Motors, HDFC, HCL Tech, ACC, Sun Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma and Tata Motors were among the top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, ONGC, GAIL, Tata Power, Grasim Industries, Hero MotoCorp, BPCL, ITC, Reliance Industries and Lupin were trading in the red.

The BSE Sensex was up 171.33 points at 29,408.48.
