Bengaluru: Two foreigners arrested for drug trafficking

The Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal unit of Andhra, and on Tuesday arrested two foreigners and seized drugs from them.

The accused have been identified as Anil Ahmed, 35, a Maldivian while the other Yakubu Usman, 30 a Nigerian

The NCB Zonal unit has recovered 430 grams of Ganja, three grams of Methamphetamine and five bolts of Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) from them.

After investigation under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) both the accused are arrested and have been sent to judicial custody.

While, Anil Ahmed was also involved in previous case of trafficking of 1.9 kg of hash through International airport in November, 2016 and was absconding since then.

An FIR has been registered and investigation is underway.
