Police have imposed traffic restrictions on the Lingarajapuram flyover with the BBMP taking up asphalting work on it from Monday. Work will be taken up into two phases. The first phase will be completed in 15 days.
In the first phase, the flyover will be closed for vehicles coming from Pulakeshinagar and going towards Hennur. Motorists travelling from Shivajinagar and going towards Hennur via flyover must proceed from Netaji Circle via Tannery Road and take a right at Narendra Tent junction and join Hennur road. Vehicles can also turn left at Siddappa Reddy junction and proceed towards Hennur.
Vehicles moving towards Banaswadi from Pottery Road via flyover must take a right turn and proceed towards Pottery Road and join Wheeler Road and travel towards ITC and proceed towards Banaswadi and reach Hennur. The second phase of work will be taken up on the other side of flyover, which is from Hennur towards Pulakeshinagar, from April 15.
Vehicles coming from Hennur and moving towards Shivajinagar can take a right turn at Siddappa Reddy junction and join Tannery Road. Vehicles coming from Hennur junction and proceeding towards the city via flyover can take a left turn at Hennur junction, proceed towards Kalyannagar on Outer Ring Road and take a right turn and proceed to Banaswadi main road and reach the city.
